Oleksiy "Bulldozer", Head of Operations and Service at Skyeton, spoke with 24 Channel about the latest combat upgrades to the Raybird UAV.
Precision matters. The Raybird UAV has been upgraded with a laser illumination system, allowing for precise targeting of guided munitions. This capability has already been tested in combat conditions and is now operating on the front lines.
Rapid innovation. The system was developed in just six months—one of Skyeton’s highest-priority projects. From field testing to real-world deployment, it is now proving its effectiveness in the most challenging environments.
Beyond reconnaissance. Initially designed for long-range ISR missions, Raybird has evolved into a strike-capable UAV. It can now detect, illuminate, strike, return, and rearm—all in one mission cycle.
