Raybird — A “Brother-in-Arms” of the Hrim Crew

The war in Ukraine has changed everything.
Drones used to be an advantage — now they’re a necessity.
And where tech used to lead, now the battlefield dictates the design.
That was the focus of the “Drone Protection for UK Soldiers — Learning From Ukraine” event at the UK House of Lords, chaired by Lord Cromwell.
Skyeton joined partners Prevail Partners to discuss how battlefield experience from Ukraine can help better protect British troops.
The event brought together members of Parliament, defence and procurement officials, senior UK military leadership, and frontline Ukrainian drone experts.
Chris Baxter, speaking on behalf of Skyeton Prevail Solutions, addressed the need to adapt quickly to evolving threats and prioritise combat-proven technologies:
Chris emphasised that heavy and expensive equipment — ground or airborne — has become far too vulnerable. Victory today belongs to flexible, compact, and cost-effective systems. That’s exactly what Ukraine brings.
Chris also called for urgent reform in defence procurement to allow frontline forces to adopt proven solutions faster and more efficiently — based on real operational needs, not bureaucracy.
Skyeton Prevail Solutions stands as a powerful example of how UK–Ukraine partnerships can deliver next-generation protection, built on real combat experience.
