Raybird at the forum in Germany: how autonomous solutions enhance airspace security.
A record number of unidentified drone incidents in Germany in 2025 shows that Europe’s airspace is becoming a zone of new challenges. Drones are no longer used only on the front line — they are a real threat to global security, demanding fast and coordinated responses.
These risks, potential solutions, and information exchange between providers and end users were the focus of the event held at TUM/HM in Gauting, where around 15 companies gathered to discuss comprehensive counter-UAS protection — from detection and classification systems to active mitigation technologies.
Our team demonstrated Raybird — an autonomous system engineered for long-duration missions and extended distances. We showed how Raybird can perform high-resolution inspections of large infrastructure lines. For example, Raybird can cover the route from Bremen to Karlsruhe in under a day, while helicopters conduct such inspections only 1–2 times a year.
For our team, this was a valuable opportunity to contribute to the European security dialogue and share experience gained in real combat conditions and proven by Ukrainian forces. Raybird enables greater visibility and faster response to threats that are becoming part of a new reality.
Technology evolves. Challenges grow. And it is at such events that real solutions are born — the ones shaping global security.
