Skyeton Supports the 5th All-Ukrainian Engineering Hackathon SmaRTF

News

On October 17, the All-Ukrainian Engineering Hackathon SmaRTF kicked off, focusing on the theme SMART MILITARY ELECTRONICS 4.0. As in previous years, Skyeton is proud to serve as a partner of this event, which brings together Ukraine’s most talented young engineers to develop innovative technological solutions for defense needs.

This year, around 40 teams from across the country are participating in the hackathon. Last year’s event gathered over 200 participants representing 8 Ukrainian cities and more than 20 educational institutions, showcasing an impressive level of technical expertise and creativity.

Format

The hackathon will take place in three stages:

  • Stage I (October 17-19, 2025) – Teams will work online to develop concept solutions in selected categories. Based on evaluation results, the 15 best teams will advance to the next round.
  • Stage II (by November 1, 2025) – Participants will present a detailed Bill of Materials for their projects and defend their technical solutions before the jury. The 5 strongest teams will move on to the final stage.
  • Stage III (January 17, 2026) – Finalists will present functional prototypes of their developments offline.

The winning team will receive a $2,000 cash prize, partner awards, and additional support for prototype development – up to $800 per team in components.

Hackathon Categories
